Disbursement and Refund Schedule
Your actual refund (Pell grant payment) amount is based on your units of enrollment status. You will only recieve the full award if you are enrolled full-time (12 or more units). If you are enrolled in fewer units, your award is adjusted based on enrollment level at the time your funds are authorized.
Please note:
Before you can receive your refund, your financial aid file must be reviewed and completed. You must also meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. Your refund will only be disbursed once your file is fully processed and you are in good SAP standings.
Students will be paid on the Refund (Payment) Date once their financial aid file is complete and SAP requirements are met.
Importantion Information:
- Withdrawal and Repayment: If a student withdraws after earning at least 60% of their grant, the student does not owe any repayment. However, students who earn no units in a term with a zero grade point average (GPA) are subject to the same repayment regulations unless the student can document that they remained in class past the 60% point of the term. The repayment regulations are referred to as 'Return to Title IV.'
Important Reminder:
- When you receive a notification that your financial aid funds have been disbursed, it means the funds have been sent to your student account to cover tuition, fees, or other charges. However, any remaining funds (your refund) will not be available until the scheduled refund date. Please note that the disbursement date and the refund date are different, and you may still need to wait a few days after disbursement to receive your refund.
Late Start Classes and Financial Aid - When you enroll into late-start classes, your financial aid for those specific classes may not be available until the classes begin.
