We’re here to help you complete your financial aid applications and understand what you need to get started.

Our team can walk you through the FAFSA, California Dream Act Application, and related steps so you don’t have to do it alone.

We Offer

  • Guidance on filling out your financial aid forms

  • Help navigating financial aid information in MyPortal

  • Support with completing the FAFSA and California Dream Act (CADAA) applications

  • General financial aid information and next steps

Please note: During application assistance, we cannot answer personal or specific questions about your individual eligibility or award amounts. For those questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office directly.

Where to Get Help with the FAFSA / CA Dream Act Application

You can receive in-person assistance at any of these locations:

  1. Welcome Center: Building 700, room 709. See hours
  2. Career & Transfer Center: Building 700, room 761 See hours
  3. Financial Aid Office: Building 700. See hours

How to Receive Assistance

  • Visit us in person at one of the locations listed above during the posted hours.

  • Bring your photo ID and your W number (student ID) so we can better assist you.

Before your visit

To save time and make your appointment smoother, please review and bring the documents listed below.

  • If you are applying for 2025–2026, bring 2023 tax forms (1040 forms).
  • If you are applying for 2026–2027, bring 2024 tax forms (1040 forms).

  • Personal information

    • Full legal name

    • Email address and phone number

    • Social Security Number (if you have one)

  • Alien Registration Number (for eligible non-U.S. citizens)

  • Income tax information

    • 1040 forms and appropriate schedules

    • W-2s

    • Any other records of income

  • Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)

  • Untaxed income information (if applicable)

Having these documents ready will help us support you more efficiently and may reduce the number of times you need to return.
