Angie Munoz
Outreach Specialist
Department:
HSI El Centro

Angela “Angie” Muñoz was born and raised in Hayward, CA and is a Chabot College alumnus where she earned her AA in Ethnic Studies and Liberal Arts. She transferred to UC Berkeley where she earned a BA in Chicano/a Studies and dedicated her time to supporting both transfers and California community college students. Chabot is where Angie learned the importance of having a supportive community when pursuing your goals. Her focus to serve historically underrepresented and first-generation students in their personal and educational journeys stems from her own lived experience as a student.
Angie is excited to return to the very same institution that inspired her and became her community, Chabot College. As a staff member, Angie is passionate about ensuring Chabot students have access to resources and institutional knowledge, all while doing it with the help of a community.
