About the Event

Connect with employers hiring for internships, part-time, and full-time jobs or come to learn about different careers to help you figure out what might be a good fit for you. This event is open to the public. 

Date: February 27, 2025, Thursday
Time: 11:30am - 1:30pm
Location: Event Center (Building 700s)

This career fair is hosted in partnership with the City of Hayward. 

Food will be available for attendees as well as a drawing where you can have a chance to win various gift cards sponsored through the City of Hayward. You can enter the drawing by completing the brief survey that will be handed out at the fair.

Here are some tips for attending a career fair if it is your first time.

An organization that provides services to adults and adolescents with substance use disorders. They work in the community helping families, businesses, and public agencies. Hiring part-time and full-time positions as counselors in youth outpatient treatment.

Seeking an Electronics Test Technician to ensure the quality of their products by testing printed circuit board assemblies and top-level products. This role involves configuring products, enabling or disabling licenses, and ensuring all items meet or exceed production specifications. The technician will be responsible for reporting and tracking production failures and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues. Attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Alameda County, General Services Agency

Hiring for multiple full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions including Building Maintenance Laborer, Building Equipment Maintenance Worker, Janitorial, Gardener, Supply Clerk, and Administrative Assistant. The Building Maintenance Laborer position is an entry-level role where you'll assist skilled tradesmen like carpenters, painters, and electricians. The Building Equipment Maintenance Worker will perform semi-skilled preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment in County buildings, requiring a class I and II CFC Certificate. Additionally, the Electrician role involves performing journey-level electrical work on both indoor and outdoor electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

The Firefighter-Recruit is an entry-level position within the Firefighter series. This role requires successful completion of the Fire Academy, demonstrating competency in all academy subjects. Competency is measured through passing examinations and evaluations of practical skills. Upon graduation, recruits will be prepared to advance to full-time firefighter duties.
