Career Center Resources & Support for Faculty/Staff

Below are various resources and support our Career Center can provide for faculty/staff:

• Promote Your Career Events & Resources - Our Career Center website posts career events and resources from all Chabot departments and programs on the Career Events and Career Resources webpages. If you promote your event or resource through the Chabot listserv, then our Career Center will also add it to these webpages. If you do not see your career event or resource posted, contact John Salangsang, jsalangsang@chabotcollege.edu, to get it added.
• Find Employers for Your Programs - The Career Center has 2700+ employer contacts which is a resource that can be utilized for both students and faculty/staff. If you are looking for employers for your events, programs, or work-based learning opportunities, and you would like to tap into the Career Center's connections, email John Salangsang, jsalangsang@chabotcollege.edu.
• Advertise Your Student Assistant Jobs - Our Career Center can post your student assistant job on the On-Campus Student Jobs webpage. To post your job, complete the Student Assistant Job Posting Form. Note: In Fall 2023, student assistant jobs will be posted in the Career Center's new online job/internship board called Handshake.
• Refer Your Students - If you have students that are undecided or seeking a job/internship, you can refer them to our Career Center website to find career events, resources, or career counseling appointments.
