Schedule a Career Counseling Appointment
Announcement: Career counseling appointments at the Career Center will only be available till June 1, 2026. If you are a student who is undecided on your career goal and major, you can visit our general counselors at the Counseling Center. For assistance with finding a job or internship, utilize our online student job board known as Chabot Handshake. Appointments at the Career Center will be available again 2 weeks after the start of the Fall 2026 semester.
There are two main reasons why someone will make a career counseling appointments:
- You are undecided about your career or education goal
- You are looking for a job or internship
If you are undecided on your goals, at your appointment, you will discuss your career interests, stengths, and values and get insight on career and education options that can be a good fit.
If you are seeking a job or internship, you will talk about the job search process and the counselor will share any appropriate resources and insight. General job search preparation services will be available as well such as building a resume, cover letter, networking basics, and interview practice sessions.
If you want your appointment to be virtual, then after you register for your appointment, email us at cc-careercenter@chabotcollege.edu and someone will send you a Zoom link.
