Please check out the scholarships below. If you click the name of the scholarship, that will bring you to their website with more information. Please check this page regularly. Take note of deadlines and make sure you start your application early and give your instructors plenty of time to write your letter of recommendation.
Smart Cookie Undergraduate Scholarship
- Amount: Varies depending on Financial Need
- Application Deadline: September 30th at 11:59PM
- Eligibility:
- Must be a first or second-generation immigrant from Latin America
- Must be a first-generation college student
- Must have attended high school in one of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Solano, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, or San Francisco
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student
- Demonstrate a significant financial need
- Must demonstrate leadership potential and willingness to contribute to your community;
- Strong preference will be given to students pursuing a STEM major or degree (not required)
- Applicants do not need to be a legal resident or citizen of the U.S.
- Must be available to attend an interview in mid October if selected as a finalist.

Latinos in Tech Scholarship
- Application Deadline: February 28th, 2025 12PM PT
- Eligibility:
- Must be of Latino or Hispanic origin
- Minimum cumulative college grade point average of 3.0
- Demonstrated financial need
- Have a declared major in and been accepted into a STEM program listed here
- Students with the following enrollment statuses are eligible to apply:
- Current college students entering their junior or senior year at a 4-year undergraduate college or university in the upcoming academic school year and planning to enroll on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Current community college students transferring to a 4-year undergraduate college or university in the upcoming academic school year and planning to enroll on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Graduate of a high school in the following Northern California counties: Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, Napa County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, Solano County, Sonoma County and Yolo County;
- OR, a Graduate of a high school not in the above counties, but enrolled at a college/university within the 11 listed counties.

Learner Tutoring Innovators of Color in STEM Scholarship
- Amount: $500
- Application Deadline: March 1st
- Eligibility: Any BIPOC high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident pursuing STEM may apply for this scholarship.

HCAC Scholarship
- Application Deadline: Sunday, March 2nd, 2025
- Eligibility:
- Of Hispanic heritage as defined by the U.S. Department of Education;
- A graduating senior, past-year GED recipient, community college student, transferring community college student, student attending a four-year institution, or a student accepted into a post-graduate program or teacher credential program;
- A resident of Alameda County. Applicant must show proof of Alameda County residence (e.g., Alameda County address on application, Alameda County address on IRS 1040 tax forms);
- Plan to attend an accredited community college, university or approved technical or vocational school;
- Community college and university scholarship recipients must be taking in at least six units/credits.

2025 Microsoft Scholarship
- Application Deadline: March 13th, 2025
- Eligibility:
- Be a U.S. based, high school senior of Hispanic and Latinxdescent (for example, Mexican American, Cuban American, Brazilian, etc) of an accredited organization.
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident or be an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA).
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or one of the following Business programs- Business Administration, Finance or Marketing at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.

Cardenas Markets Foundation Scholarship
- Deadline: March 21st
- Description: The Cardenas Markets Foundation continues its commitment to supporting the communities it serves by providing scholarship funds to students in the areas where Cardenas Markets operates. In sum, 65 scholarships totaling $277,000 will be awarded for the 2025 academic year

Chicana Latina Foundation
- Deadline: March 31st
- Description: This Leadership and Scholarship Program forms the cornerstone of the Chicana Latina Foundation. Each year they award merit-based scholarships valued at $1500 to 40-45 powerful Latina students.
- Requirements:
- Self-identify as a Chicana and/or Latina
- Be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college in one of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, San Francisco, Sonoma, or Yolo
- Have lived at least two (2) years in one of the above Northern California counties at the time of application
- Community College and Undergraduate students must:
- Be enrolled in a full-time college student (as defined by your institution) for the Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 Academic Year.
- Have completed 12 college units after high school graduation
- If you have earned college credit but are still in high school, you are not eligible.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 college coursework
- Graduate students must:
- Be enrolled graduate/professional students completing course/thesis/dissertation; or have been accepted into graduate/profession school for the Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 Academic Year.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 for college course work
- Commit to attending all required events
