Facilities Rental Process

PLEASE NOTE: Facility Rental is dependent upon the availability of the facilities at Chabot College and the availability of Chabot College personnel to support the event.*

*Due to the significant number of inquiries and facility requests being received, it may take from 2-4 weeks to receive a response from the Administrative Services Office, and it may then take another 4-6 weeks to process your request. Thank you for your patience in advance.

 

Process for renting facilities at Chabot College

  1. Request Forms for Chabot College Facilities Rentals should be submitted 4-6 weeks before the event to allow sufficient time to consider the request, reserve the facility, prepare the billing, and allow the requester sufficient time to pay the bill.
  2. Certificates of Liability are required before a formal confirmation will be made. Chabot College requires a Certificate of Liability insurance from the applicant in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) naming Chabot College as the Certificate Holder. Once the Certificate of Liability has been received, the event can be confirmed and an invoice will be processed.
  3. Facility rental fees are due upon receipt of invoice unless prior arrangements are made with the Administrative Services Office.
  4. Cancellations must be received 10 business days prior to the event.
  5. Once you've read through the Rental Guidelines (link below) you can visit the Facilities Forms site to obtain the appropriate Request Form.
