Individual Dual Enrollment in English Courses

Requirements and policies for for high school students to enroll in English coursed at Chabot College:

1. Students younger than sixteen and who have not achieved junior standing in high school (or the demonstrated equivalent) may not enroll in English courses.
   
   
2. Students sixteen years or older who have achieved junior standing in high school (or the demonstrated equivalent) may enroll in transfer or associate degree-level English courses if:
   • They complete the English Informed Course Selection process.
   • They meet other enrollment criteria stated in the college’s individual dual enrollment policy.
     
     

3. No individual dual enrolled student may enroll in an English course below the transfer or associate degree level (i.e., 100 level courses).
