CIN - Change It Now
Change It Now (CIN) is an academic leadership program designed for students interested in:
- Being empowered in social change.
- Transfering to four-year colleges and universities.
- Exploring community issues such as: education, health care, budget cuts, environmental, poverty, violence, and more.
- Building strong relationships with other CIN students.
- Developing skills to become leaders in their communities.

The CIN Impact
CIN students are challenged to think critically about issues confronting their communities. Through group projects, excursions and campus activities their awareness of social justice issues increases.

Join CIN!
For New or Returning Chabot Students
- Complete the Change It Now (CIN) Application
- CIN Coordinator, Carmen Johnston, will reach out to you with next steps.
After the CIN Coordinator confirms your membership in the program, enroll in your CIN classes (CIN students are expected to enroll in at least 2 CIN classes). - CIN faculty will contact you to review program expectations, and enrollment.
- Attend the CIN Program Orientation.
- Participate in CIN activities and stay in good academic standing in all of your classes!
