2. Song Selection
- Length: 1 to 1.5 minutes maximum. Please cut your song down to your best 90 seconds.

- Style Options: You can choose one of the following:
-
- A song from AVENUE Q, or
- A song in the style of AVENUE Q. (Think comedic, catchy, and slightly quirky, such as a rock/pop musical, a song with a punchline, or even a fun animated cartoon theme song!), or
- A song you personally love to sing.
Music Performance Options - please choose one option
1. Backing Track (Recommended) We recommend you sing with a pre-recorded instrumental track or karaoke track.
- What to bring: Try to find music that does NOT have any lead vocals on it and have the track cued up to your starting point. You can play the music directly from your phone or device.
- Submitting Files: If you need to use a digital file, please email it to Dee Dee Stephens at dstephens@chabotcollege.edu no later than 24 hours before your audition date.
2. A Cappella is Allowed: You can sing A Cappella, which means singing with no background music or track, just your voice.
