Current Fresh Success Students

To remain active as a Fresh Success participant, student must have an active CalFresh case with Alameda or Santa Clara County, enrolled in an approved Career Education, ESL or non-credit course, and have a student education plan on file.  

Books & Supplies Reimbursement | Book Voucher 

Fresh Success will cover up to $500 for REQUIRED books, equipment, and supplies for active Fresh Success participants. Reimbursements will be processed only for purchases made AFTER your Fresh Success intake start date. Unfortunately, purchases made prior to the start date will not be reimbursed.

Stparticipation will remain active as long as you are receiving CalFresh benefits with Alameda County and are enrolled in an approved Career Education, ESL or non-credit course. 

Reimbursement Process:

  •  Must submit the original receipt or online receipt showing final purchase and payment method.  
    • For example, last four numbers of the credit card
  • Reimbursement check will be mailed to your address on file at Chabot College, to update your address/phone at Chabot complete the Student Information Change form email it using your zonemail to ccarcom@chabotcollege.edu 

Book Voucher Process:

Students DO NOT have to pay out of pocket for books ordered at the Chabot online bookstore.

Step One:

  • Click on Grant/Voucher on the top right.
  • Enter your Student W# 
  • Voucher ID: Sent once schedule has been received.  grant voucher screenshot

Step Three:  

  • Select your Term (Fall 24), Site (Course), and Course ID (Make sure to double check). Once selected for all classes. Click View Your Material.  term screenshot

Step Four: 

  • Select how you would like the book (Print, Rental, Market Seller E-book). Add Selected to cart. Click Proceed to checkout.  
  • If needed, Add Grade Builder items to the cart or click No Thanks. Click continue to checkout (Top right)

Step Five: 

  • Click Check out
  • Fill out Your Shipping Address (If you need to place an order and ship to school, please contact us before ordering). Click Choose Your Shipping Method.  

Step Six:  

  • Select shipping method UPS 3 DAY RESIDENT (Free Shipping) If you choose a different shipping method please keep in mind which shipping is covered with grant/Voucher.
  • Click Select Payment Option.  
  • Click Review Your Order 

Step Seven: 

  • Review & submit your order
  • Create a password and confirm your password  
  • Accept the Privacy Policy & Terms of Service * Shipping Terms & Conditions  
  • Click Submit Your Order  

An email confirmation of your purchase will be sent to your Zone mail. 

Transportation

Monthly transportation is only available for in-person classes.

Every month you will submit the Fresh Success Gas/Clipper Card Affidavit.

Parking Permit

Before beginning, please have your vehicle information, such as model, year, and license plate. 

STEP ONE:  

STEP TWO:   

  • Click the log-in button in the corner and create an account.  
  • (You're going to want to create an account using your zone mail so that if there are any issues, you can easily pull up your permit if you can't access it in your email)  
  • STEP THREE:  
  • Once logged in, you will click on permits and scroll down to "SPECIAL PROGRAMS FALL 2024."

  • Click Register and enter your last name and W#.  

STEP FOUR:  

  • After reading the parking permit POLICY for the parking permit, fill out the following information:  
  • Your full name, email address (preferably zone mail), phone number, W#, address, and car information.  
  • Accept the terms and conditions. Then, you will register for your permit.   
  • A copy of your permit will be sent to your email. Keep this for your records.
