BCRC History

The BCRC was formed as result of the Fall 2020 Black Excellence Collective (BEC) 10x10 Taskforce.

The taskforce enlisted over 100 volunteer members from across our campus community to support the approximately 2000 Black students at Chabot College. 10 Villages were created to connect and refer students to services and resources at Chabot College. Each Village also focused on increasing impact in one of 10 areas of focus identified by Black students, classified professionals, faculty and administrators.

Chabot College is incredibly proud of our swift and united effort in achieving this goal.
