RSVP to Commencement Invitation & Get Your Guest Tickets

DUE: May 15, 5pm (PST)

Check your student email, Zonemail, for RSVP to Commencement Invitation

For students who submitted their Request for Degree or Certificate by April 1st and are eligible, they will be emailed an invite to participate in the ceremony.

To-do List

  1. Check your Zonemail and spam folder, for an email invitation from PurplePass to RSVP for Commencement.
    Follow the instructions in the invitation on how to RSVP for the Commencement. It will look like this:

  2. To get your guest tickets, you must respond with your RSVP to attend one of the two Commencement sessions, and then you will receive a link to register for guest tickets.
    • Each graduate is allowed up to 3 guest tickets by completing the RSVP process.
    • All guests, including children, must have a ticket to enter. Each ticket is unique and can only be scanned once for admission.
    • Graduates will have their own seating area. You will be choosing your guests’ seats when
      you RSVP for a ceremony time.

Friday, May 15, 5pm (PST), is the very last day for eligible graduates to RSVP for Commencement tickets.

What to do if you don’t get the email invitation to RSVP? 

If you have submitted a Request for Degree/Certificate by the due date of April 1st and you are eligible to graduate, then check your ZONEMAIL inbox and the spam folder.

If you've completed the previous step and still have not received the email invitation by Friday, April 10th, then email pacinfo@chabotcollege.edu immediately.

If you experience any issues with your RSVP, email pacinfo@chabotcollege.edu

Can you show up on the day of commencement without an RSVP?  

No. All participants and guests must submit an RSVP to attend.

Can You Get Extra Tickets?

If available, we may offer “additional” ticket opportunities AFTER May 4, 2026, on a first come-first serve basis.
