MESA
The Chabot College MESA and TRiO-STEM program offers academic support and career exploration for STEM majors planning to transfer to four-year colleges. We offer academic counseling, priority registration, tutoring, speakers from STEM industries, conferences, and campus visits as well as information on the transfer process, financial aid, and internships. (MESA is open to undocumented students as well.)
To be eligible, students must:
- be in a STEM major;
- be intending to transfer to a 4-year university; and
- demonstrate an economic and/or educational disadvantage (generally our students are first generation in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree and/or are eligible for financial aid.)
How to Apply
If you’re interested in applying to be a part of the program, complete and submit the MESA/TRIO-STEM Application.
When campus is open, there are also paper applications available on the door of the MESA TRiO-STEM Center (Room 2005) that can be turned in to Room 2005 or emailed to MESA-TRIOSTEM@ChabotCollege.edu if closed.
