Nikie Abillano (she/her/siya) is a second generation Pinay born and raised in Yelamu occupied Ramaytush Ohlone Land (San Francisco, CA). As a daughter of Filipino immigrants with roots in lands of Bicol and Visaya, she is unapologetically and authentically Fil-Am. With a passion for social justice and equity, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Race and Ethnic Studies with a minor in Asian Studies from University of Redlands (2020) and became the first person to graduate within her family. She currently serves as the Counselor Assistant I for MOVEMENT, Nesians Unite, and Change It Now! In her off time, she enjoys taking goofy pictures of her dog, buying little knick knacks, and exploring new cafés. "Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything" (Joseph Whelan, SJ).
