first page of their search results using a general search engine
(in most cases, Google). You take a look at what they
found at the time, and you ask yourself: Would I use this site
for my research paper or my speech?

Print out at least one copy of the
Web Evaluation Checklist.
- Look at each
of the sites below.
- Evaluate
them keeping in mind accuracy and objectivity, author's credentials,
and currency of the site.
- Then click
on the Explanation in the column on the right.

look at pages and compare them, we recommend that you right click on
each link and select "Open
in New Tab" (If you are using IE 6, open in New Window,
instead). Move from page to page through this method. |
