Finding the Periodical That Has Your Article

After article citation, message says "Sorry, no holdings were found for this journal. Please see additional options below for finding this journal. Includes a link to the Library Catalog and a link to WorldCat.

Sometimes, however, the periodical will NOT be available in the Library's collection or in the Library's databases.  If this happens, you will need to go to another Library's collection.  You can do this by going to the Library catalog and search for the periodical title (use ti= for exact title search even if it is a one word title).  If you do not see any results toward the top of the screen, go to Links to Other Libraries and go into Worldcat.  expand your search to Libraries Worldwide and re-sort by Relevance Only.  Scroll down and click on Worldwide Libraries Own this Item.  Enter the zipcode you are currently in and the closest libraries to you that have the title in print will be listed.

Before you head out the door, however, be sure to contact a librarian at Chabot, first.  Librarians are pretty good at finding the "unfindable"--they just MAY find that very article online somewhere.
