Suggested Schedule Notes for Online/Hybrid Courses
Listed below are suggested schedule note examples for both fully online and hybrid courses (including late-start). The suggested format can be altered/customized to fit the needs of each course section.
ONLINE #1: Suggested wording for fully online courses:
ART 57 is a fully online course. To start the course, enrolled students should log into Blackboard on the first day of class. For login instructions and additional information go to www.chabotcollege.edu/online.
ONLINE #2: Suggested wording for late-start fully online courses:
ART 57 is a late-start fully online course. To start the course, enrolled students should log into Blackboard on the first day of class (please refer to the class dates listed above). For login instructions and additional information go to www.chabotcollege.edu/online.
HYBRID #1: Suggested wording for hybrid courses in which enrolled students are expected
to get started in the class by attending the first on-campus meeting:
ART 57 is a hybrid course with two required on-campus meetings on August 19 and December 9, from 6:00 -7:40 PM in Building 6000, Room 6020. The remainder of the instruction is online. To start the course, enrolled students must attend the first on-campus meeting. For additional information go to www.chabotcollege.edu/online.
HYBRID #2: Suggested wording for hybrid courses in which enrolled students are expected
to get started by logging into Blackboard:

Definitions for online and hybrid courses:
- Online Course: A course conducted completely online (without any required on-campus meetings).
- Hybrid Course: A course conducted using a combination of online learning and required on-campus meetings.
