With more than 20 years of experience in biotechnology, molecular diagnostics as well as higher education and nonprofit leadership, I hold a Master of Science in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University. My experience includes scientific research, product development, and collaboration within cross-functional teams to address complex challenges in healthcare and life sciences, along with scientific publications in the field. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students, and committed to helping them develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and confidence needed to succeed in the life sciences and related disciplines. In addition, I serve as Co-Founder, CEO, and Vice President of Pro Nature City, a nonprofit focused on sustainable urban development, and serve on the Board of Directors of BioLink Depot, which supports science education, sustainability, and the circular economy.
