I have been teaching at Chabot College for 8 years and I have been teaching as an adjunct Professor in the California Community College system for 23 years. I have a doctorate (Ed.D.) in education from Concordia University in Portland, OR, a MA in anthropology from California State University, Northridge (Los Angeles) and my undergraduate degree is in Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology from the University of California, Santa Barbara where I specialized in Southern California Prehistory and stone tool analysis. My doctoral specialization is self-efficacy in online education.
