Nikie Abillano (she/her/siya) is a second generation Pinay born and raised in Yelamu occupied Ramaytush Ohlone Land (San Francisco, CA). As a daughter of Filipino immigrants with roots in lands of Bicol and Visaya, she is unapologetically and authentically Fil-Am.
With a passion for social justice and equity, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Race and Ethnic Studies with a minor in Asian Studies from University of Redlands (2020) and became the first person to graduate within her family. She currently serves as the Counselor Assistant I for MOVEMENT, Nesians Unite, and Change It Now! In her off time, she enjoys taking goofy pictures of her dog, buying little knick knacks, and exploring new cafés.
