Dr. Drennon Lindsey, EdD, is the Coordinator of the Administration of Justice Department and a full-time, tenure-track professor at Chabot College. She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary's College of California, a master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Golden Gate University, and a bachelor's degree in Biology from California State University, East Bay. Before transitioning to higher education full time, Dr. Lindsey served 26 years with the Oakland Police Department, retiring as Bureau Chief of Investigations. Her executive leadership experience includes serving as Deputy Chief, Area Commander, Homicide Commander, Chief of Race & Equity, and Commander of the Training and Personnel Division. She is committed to preparing future criminal justice professionals through engaging, equitable, and real-world learning experiences.
