Gabriel Chaparro moved to the bay Area when he was 9 years old and has been a resident of The bay ever since. Gabe, a current PhD student, earned his MA from the University of the Pacific in Educational Administration and Leadership, and his BS from Cal State Hayward in Physics - with a minor in music. Although expired, Gabe was at one point a credentialed Science teacher in CA and taught Chemistry, Physics, and Leadership at Hayward High School (his alma mater) and at John Muir High School in Pasadena.
When Gabe is not working in the STEM Center he can be found practicing scales on his saxophone, sewing/designing a new garment, cutting and stitching leather, on stage practicing improv, or exploring a new (to him) place for food somewhere in The Bay (suggestions welcomed).
