My name is Dennis Cambara. I am a DSPS Counselor and instructor at the Chabot Disabled Resource Center. I joined Chabot College in August 2018 after relocating from the Inland Empire in Southern California. Before my role at Chabot, I served as an Adjunct Counselor for DSPS at several institutions, including Chaffey College, San Bernardino Valley College, and Irvine Valley College. I also have 15 years of experience working in the private sector within higher education. I am deeply passionate about my work with students with disabilities, focusing on empowering them to recognize their abilities and utilizing technology to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. As a former community college student at Riverside City College, I can relate to students' experiences, particularly those of first-generation college students. I enjoy outdoor activities, ice hockey, and traveling in my free time.
