Dr. Talia Moore is an adjunct in the Administration of Justice Program at Chabot College, and also serves as Assistant Professor of Criminology at Holy Names University. In addition, she is a business owner, self-published author and poet, and criminologist specializing in social justice, law enforcement culture and community and client engagement. Dr. Moore has over a decade of law enforcement experience. As a Deputy Probation Officer; she supervised juveniles, adults, felony drug offenders and the significantly mentally ill. Dr. Moore received her B.A. in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in Psychology and a minor in African-American Studies; earned her M.A. in Psychology, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling from Golden Gate University; and her Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology and Forensics from Argosy University American School of Professional Psychology.
