Jemima Muñoz
Program Director
Jemima Muñoz is the Program Director at Chabot College Early Childhood Development Lab School. She began working with families and children through volunteering at Georgia Travis Center in San Jose, California, a multi-service day center for homeless and low-income women and children. She continued supporting children and families through managing state subsidized child care contracts and private child care at two community college lab schools in Santa Clara County. She has lead the development of professional development tools and efforts for the early childhood education workforce as a research associate at Wested and as a QRIS coach and trainer throughout the bay area. She has conducted and presented research on early math and spatial development. She has a B.A. from UC Irvine, and an M.A. from Mills College in Early Childhood Education.
