Aaron Deetz has worked in the photography industry for the last 30 years as a photographer, artist, designer and educator.
As a professional photographer Aaron Deetz has worked in the field as a photojournalist and commercial studio photographer. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums in California and New York.
Professor Deetz has taught at Chabot College since 2014. Prior to Chabot College he taught at the City University of New York, Queensborough. He is passionate about teaching photography in all of it's mediums from film to digital and historical processes.
His current photographic work combines drone photography with alternative process printing, bringing together new and old technologies in the photographs. And is exploring the use of AI as a creative tool in image making.
