Hi there! I've been at Chabot College, working in the Learning Connection since 2009. I started as a Staff Assistant before moving into the Senior Administrative Assistant position, and then in January 2025 I started at the Learning Connection Equity Director. I received my BA in Linguistics and Spanish (concentration in Hispanic Languages, Linguistics, and Bilingualism) from UC Berkeley and my MA in English Composition from San Francisco State University. I am a firm supporter of lifelong learning, and I've taken classes in Business and Digital Media here at Chabot to further my own knowledge and learning as I moved through various professional roles. When I'm not working or in class, I enjoy being outdoors and traveling. One of my "bucket list" items is to visit every National Park; so far, I've been to 19 of 63! This past summer, I visited Acadia National Park in Maine, and I'm hoping to visit Joshua Tree, and Channel Islands soon to complete all the National Parks in California.
