William Robert (Bob) Buell, Jr. is a retired Fire Captain from the City of Alameda Fire Department, and currently serves as the Fire Technology Program Coordinator and Fire Academy Director for Chabot College. He is a graduate of the Chabot Fire Academy and received his Associates Degree from Chabot College. To advance the training and education needs of students enrolled in the Chabot College Fire Technology Program, Bob serves on local, regional, statewide, and college-level committees to advocate on behalf of our students, faculty, and staff. During Spring 2025, Bob will conduct office hours online on Wednesday late afternoon/evenings, and on-campus at Room 2920 on Tuesday afternoons. Off-campus office hours for fire academy students are conducted at the Hayward Fire Training Center (1401 West Winton Avenue, Hayward, CA 94545) on Sundays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
