FSPS: First Semester Planning Session
First Semester Planning sessions (FSPS) are for new, first-time in college students planning to attend Chabot College as their primary campus and who are pursuing a degree/certificate or transfer. A FSPS will help you plan out your first semester of classes.
NOTE: High School Concurrent/Dual Enrollment students do not need to complete this step. If you have previously attended another college or are a continuing Chabot College student, we recommend you speak with a counselor (drop-in or appointment) instead.
For Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Environment (STEME) Majors: STEME First Semester Planning sessions (FSPS) are for new, first-time in college students who are considering or plan to major in a STEME field such as Biology, Environmental/Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or are interested in continuing on to a professional program such as Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, or Veterinary School (for example, to become a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or veterinarian.)

- planning to major in Business, Economics, Information Technology or related major
