TRIO ASPIRE is federally funded program designed to provide in-depth academic support and motivation to low-income, first generation students to graduate from Chabot College and/or transfer to a four-year college or university.

Eligibility

Chabot students must meet these specific eligibility requirements:

Be one or more of the following:
1. First generation college student
2. Meet federal low-income guidelines
3. Eligible for services through the Center for Disability Services
Goal to transfer to a CSU/UC or private university

Students Receive

Through a holistic approach that focuses on the whole student, participants receive the following services to ensure success at Chabot and beyond:

Academic Support

Academic counseling
Tutoring and study groups
Priority registration and enrollment assistance
College readiness and success courses
Assistance developing your Student Educational Plan (SEP)
Transfer assistance, including campus visits to local four-year colleges and universities
