Searching in a Database
Below is
an example from the EBSCOhost database. A regular search is a
keyword search that will search all fields (note: searching all fields does not mean it is searching the entire text of the article, itself. In EBSCOhost, you would need to refine your search and expand to full text). Notice that in some databases, multiple search lines are available so you can place each search term on each line. On the right, you can select a field to be searched just for the one search term you placed on the left. |
