Juztino Panella, LMFT
Counselor / Instructor / Peer to Career Coordinator
Initially working in music therapy, Juztino Panella (he/him/éll) came to Chabot in 2012 to play flute and percussion at a Loss & Grief ceremony. Inspired by the students he met, he applied for a full-time position that opened in 2014 and was hired a Counselor/Instructor. In this position he provides academic counseling, instruction, mental health therapy and peer mentorship. Juztino has co-founded several programs at the college including CARES Mental Health, Justice Arts Collective community music, and the Peer to Career Pipeline that he now coordinates. He truely loves collaborating with incredible colleagues at Chabot with whom he works to create a positive impact in the lives of students. Juztino speaks English, Italian and Spanish and when he is not working, you may catch him playing congas or making some good Italian food!
Brenda Dominguez
Peer Guide Support & Supervision
Brenda Dominguez (she/hers/ella) is a Counseling Assistant I in General Counseling at Chabot and part of the Peer Guide leadership team. She is an Alumni from UCSB and Chabot College, with bachelor's degree in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies. Has worked in higher education since her undergrad at Chabot College as a Peer Advisor. Working and having extensive experience in different departments in college campuses, she hopes to pursue a master degree in college counseling. Brenda loves road trips, hikes and exploring new places to eat.
Bionca Sparrow
Wellness Ambassador Support & Supervision
Bionca Sparrow (she/her) first came to Chabot College in 2012 as a student to complete her AA degree in Psychology. Shortly over time, she sought after community involvement where she was blessed to become a Peer Guide at the college and serve her fellow peers. Passionate about her new position, she had desired to further support the Counseling Division and was awarded the opportunity to become a Counselor Assistant II and a part of the Peer Guide Leadership team. As a life-long learner, Bionca is happy to announce that she’s an alumni of Chabot College and Cal State University, East Bay. Having earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. When she’s not working, Bionca loves spending time with family and friends, her 5 grandboys and serving communities with God’s grace.
Cemone Harper
Counselor / Instructor / Peer Guide Trainer
Cemone (she/her), is a part-time counselor in General Counseling at Chabot and trainer for the Peer Guide program. She has worked in higher education since her undergraduate days as a tour guide at SJSU back in 2012. Fast forward 10 years later, she now holds a masters degree in Educational Counseling and has been working at Chabot since 2018! She’s a mother, wife, and photographer outside of her counseling role and loves to cook good food, binge watch reality TV shows, and go to 49er football games in her free time!
Sang Leng Trieu
Wellness Ambassador Activities Lead
Sang is supporting the student wellness ambassadors program and has been working as a consultant at Chabot College since 2018. Her work in institutions of higher education spans seven campuses in Northern and Southern California, serving in faculty and student affairs roles. She holds two graduate degrees in public health. Sang is a marathon runner, a Sanrio/Hello Kitty fan, and enjoys traveling, reading, and getting her daily dose of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
Yetunde Osikomaiya
Counselor / Instructor / Peer Guide Trainer
Yetunde is a full time Counselor/Instructor in the General Counseling division at Chabot. In addition to supporting training for the Peer Guide program, she enjoys teaching the Intro to Human Services course (PSCN 5) and she provides academic counseling services for students earning certificates, associated degrees, and students who want to transfer to 4-year universities.
