I have over 20 years of experience, and have been an RN since 1996. Most of my clinical experience comes from the ED, with additional acquired skills in Interventional Services and Informatics. I have held several leadership roles, from House Supervision and Assistant Nurse Manager to Director in multiple areas including the OR, PACU, Ambulatory clinic and ED. I was previously EPIC certified as an analyst and currently have my board certification as a Nurse Executive and my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I am a Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society member and part of the American College of Healthcare Executives. I hold a BSN from Oakland University and an MBA from Western Governors University. I enjoy the chance to share my experiences and knowledge with our students. My motivation is their success. If I'm not working or teaching, you will find me on the mats training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or hanging out with my kids or dogs.
