CCN: Common Course Numbering
Same Courses, New Numbers!
Chabot College is helping students transfer more easily with the new Common Course Numbering (CCN) system! Thanks to Assembly Bill 1111, all California Community Colleges will use the same course numbers for equivalent classes. This means a course you take at Chabot College will have the same number as the same class at another community college, making transferring credits simpler and clearer.
- No more guessing: Courses with the same content has the same course number at all California Community Colleges.
- Easier transfers: Move between colleges or transfer to a UC or CSU knowing your courses count.
- Less confusion: Avoid retaking classes or missing transfer requirements!
